All high-friction and consumable components are replaced with OEM-spec parts: clutch packs, friction plates, steel plates, seals, gaskets, filters, thrust washers and rubber parts. Nothing consumable carries over from the core.
Beyond replacement, we actively upgrade model-specific factory weak points — historically problematic parts of that transmission family are revised to resolve original design defects, which is what improves long-term reliability rather than just restoring the status quo.
A rebuild that only swaps what is already broken leaves the next weak link in place. Replacing every consumable and revising the family's documented weak points is what turns a repair into a remanufacture.
